Fish for Lunch
Ingredients
(for one serving)
- 1/2 organic* apple, sliced
- 1-2 slices of yellow American cheese, cut in triangles
- 3 organic grapes sliced thin
- 1 organic blueberry, cut in half for the eye
- 1 organic strawberry sliced
- 1/3 pear cut in wedges
- 1 orange slice cut in half
Have all ingredients ready and cut for your little one. Place ingredients in bowls for easy little hand access and show them the above picture. Let them create their own fish with little to none adult assistance. They'll be proud once the masterpiece is complete. Enjoy!
*I choose to buy some organic fruits for my children. I try to follow the dirty dozen list from HuffPost Healthy Living .
